How to read this ranking
Company market caps measure equity value; crypto caps use circulating supply; metal values are source estimates of existing stocks. These are different measures, and metal estimates are uncertain. Oil and other goods without comparable stock estimates are not assigned invented market caps. The ranking does not cover every asset worldwide. Foreign-company prices are converted to USD by the source and may differ from the chart currency. Price changes are reported by the source; comparison periods and quote times may differ between instruments.
Automatic checks every 6 hours while this page is open, with server caching for up to 6 hours. Retrieval time is not an exchange timestamp; the source supplies no common timestamp for all rows. If access is blocked, the dated ranking remains without advancing its date.
How to read these data
The ranking compares thirty assets covered by the source, including companies, metals and cryptocurrencies. Companies use equity market capitalization, cryptocurrencies use circulating supply value, and metals use an estimate of existing stocks multiplied by price. These methods have different foundations and are not equivalent.
ETFs are excluded to reduce duplication with underlying assets. The selection depends on the source universe and does not represent every economic asset worldwide. The site rechecks data availability every six hours; when a current observation cannot be obtained, it retains the verified snapshot date and identifies its status. Available price charts have their own source and timestamp, separate from the market-cap observation; securities and commodities use verified line or area history.
