Estimated BTC mined
Attributes 22,503 blocks to the Patoshi miner up to height 54,316 using the ExtraNonce pattern and additional nonce restrictions. A precise count does not make the miner’s identity certain.
Read the studyHow much did Bitcoin’s creator mine? Research into the earliest blocks produces different estimates. Explore the historical attributions, methods and indicative valuations.
Estimated attribution, not proven ownership. These figures concern bitcoin mined according to different analyses: they are not Satoshi’s verified current balance and do not prove that the keys remain accessible.

Selected historical quantity × the site’s BTC quote. Values recalculate with prices; they do not measure verified wealth or account for spent or inaccessible coins.
Illustrative ratio to issued supply observed by this site; not a measure of spendable BTC.
Reference to the protocol’s monetary limit.
Different methods and periods: these figures are not a statistical confidence interval and must not be added together.
Patoshi is Lerner’s name for a set of early blocks with recurring mining characteristics. Analyses seek to associate them with a dominant miner, often linked to Satoshi. The blockchain records transactions and blocks, not the owner’s real-world identity.
There is no complete authenticated list of all his addresses. Turning a block cluster into a current balance would require proven attribution and an up-to-date unspent-output check. A receipt or movement at an old address alone does not identify Satoshi.
Reconstructions of early Bitcoin mining identify patterns consistent with a dominant miner. Attributing that miner to Satoshi Nakamoto remains a hypothesis: selected blocks and estimated quantities depend on the research method, rather than a complete list of confirmed wallets.
This section distinguishes historical estimates of mined coins from a verified current balance. Studies using different methods do not form a statistical confidence interval. Any euro or dollar valuations are indicative calculations using available site prices; they do not establish ownership, access to private keys or realizable proceeds.
