How to read the ranking
Automatic checks every 24 hours, and when returning to the page after 24 hours. A daily check does not mean daily disclosures. Source verification is distinct from the actual balance date; missing dates remain missing. Primary and secondary sources are classified by the dataset; “reported” does not mean a certified on-chain balance. Verifications are flagged as dated after 7 days for funds, 90 for governments and 120 for companies. Funds may hold multiple assets; only reported physical BTC are included. Custody, exchange and derivative categories are excluded, but overlaps across all entities cannot be ruled out. Do not add these figures into a single measure of Bitcoin in existence.

How to read these data
The ranking brings together available Bitcoin positions of public and private companies, ETFs and governments. The site checks sources daily; each row retains its disclosure date and distinguishes reported amounts, estimates and disputed information. An automatic check does not mean every issuer has published a new balance.
Available official disclosures supplement the CorpStacking dataset, licensed under CC BY 4.0. Coverage is not a complete census of Bitcoin owners. Custody balances must not be counted again alongside the funds whose assets they hold; positions without a verifiable quantity remain outside the numerical ranking.
